Job Description: 

 

Job Description & Responsibilities: 

 

Guidance on AWS Services:

  • Observability requirements assessment.
  • Recommendations and best-practice guidance on suitable AWS services.
  • Workshops and knowledge transfer sessions.

AWS Architecture Design for Observability Services Platform:

  • High-level architectural design document.
  • Detailed, low-level architectural design document (including network, data flow, security).
  • Scalability and resilience plan.
  • Security design.

Monitoring, Alerting, and Dashboard Implementation:

  • Implementation of core monitoring alarms.
  • Creation of initial performance dashboards.
  • Documentation of troubleshooting/fix procedures for alerts.

AWS Cost Avoidance and Optimization:

  • Cost analysis of the proposed architecture.
  • Design recommendations for cost minimization.
  • Guidance on AWS cost management tools.

Assistance Creating Automated CI/CD Processes:

  • Design and documentation of CI/CD pipelines (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Implementation support for initial CI/CD pipeline setup.
  • Best practices documentation for CI/CD.
  • Training/workshop on CI/CD processes.

Management Procedures Documentation:

  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for routine management and maintenance of the platform8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, VPN).
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) is a plus.
  • AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Admin) is preferred.
