- Summary:
- We are looking for a highly experienced IT Project Lead and Certified Contract Administration Manager to oversee statewide IT contracts for the Texas Education Agency. This is a critical, high-priority role for a candidate with a minimum of 20 years of experience, a strong background with State of Texas agencies, and an active CTCM certification.
- Key Responsibilities:
- * Serve as the primary Project Lead and Contract Administration Manager for IT contracts.
- * Monitor contract and grant performance, including developing metrics and tracking deliverables.
- * Act as the main liaison between TEA leadership, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- * Manage contract lifecycles, including negotiations, dispute resolution, and compliance checks.
- * Prepare and manage budgets and Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR) documents.
- * Lead continuous improvement initiatives for contract administration processes.
- Required Qualifications:
- * Minimum 20+ years of experience in government regulations, contract management, and IT projects.
- * Extensive knowledge of DCS contract practices, budgeting, and forecasting.
- * Proven experience with LAR preparation.
- * Must be a Texas resident with prior experience working for a State of Texas agency.
- * Active Texas Certified Contract Administration Manager (CTCM) certification is mandatory.
