Job Summary

Navy Federal Credit Union is seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle Sales Performance Management (SPM) Developer with strong expertise in the Variable Incentive Compensation (VIC) module. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, and supporting Oracle SPM/VIC solutions to streamline and enhance variable compensation processes across the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain Oracle SPM (VIC) solutions to support variable compensation planning, calculation, and reporting.
  • Implement and maintain compensation plans, formulas, payment workflows, and crediting rules.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Perform data integrations, validations, and transformations across systems (e.g., Oracle HCM, CRM, ERP).
  • Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective resolutions.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, customizations, and development processes.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and go-live activities.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, security standards, and Oracle best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Sales Performance Management (SPM), specifically the Variable Incentive Compensation (VIC) module.
  • Strong understanding of compensation plan design, crediting models, roll-ups, and calculation engines in Oracle VIC.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Incentive Compensation data models and payment processing.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and working with Oracle relational databases.
  • Experience with data integration tools such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Informatica, or API-based integrations.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps environments.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Applications or Oracle Cloud VIC implementations.
  • Knowledge of Oracle BI Publisher or Oracle Analytics for reporting and dashboarding.
  • Understanding of Oracle VIC data security and user role configurations.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized with a focus on quality.
