Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 9+ years of experience as a Windows Systems Engineer or similar role.
- Proficient in PowerShell scripting – automation, system management, and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly in infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) and hybrid cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server architecture.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools and system monitoring platforms.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and best practices in the banking/financial sector.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Must reside in the United States and be willing to undergo an extensive background check including address and work verification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in financial services or regulated enterprise environments.
- Located within commutable distance to NYC. Remote candidates considered if located nearby and able to travel occasionally.
- Experience with tools such as SCCM, Intune, Terraform, or Azure DevOps is a plus.

A leading financial institution is seeking a highly skilled Windows Systems Engineer with strong expertise in Azure and PowerShell scripting. You will play a key role in managing and automating enterprise Windows infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment. The ideal candidate has a strong background in systems engineering, automation, and compliance in high-security settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support Windows Server environments in on-prem and Azure cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts for automation, monitoring, and deployment.
