Job Title: EDI WebMethods Consultant
Location: Denver, CO (Onsite from Day 1)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 12+ years of overall IT experience with at least 7+ years in EDI WebMethods
- Proven expertise in managing end-to-end integration lifecycles, including design, development, deployment, monitoring, and support of middleware solutions
- Strong focus on WebMethods migration implementations and B2B interface transitions
- Deep understanding of EDI standards and communication protocols
- Experience in managing migration projects across WebMethods platforms, ensuring successful transition of B2B transactions and interfaces with minimal disruption
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor development teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex integration issues
Key Technical Must-Have Skills:
- EAI Development Tools: WebMethods (versions 4.x–10.x), WebMethods.io B2B, WebMethods.io API Gateway, webMethods.io Integration Update Manager, Sterling Integrator 5.0
- EDI Standards & Protocols: ANSI X12 (810, 820, 850, etc.), EDIFACT (ORDERS, INVOIC, etc.), EDIINT
- RDBMS: Oracle
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of integration solutions using the WebMethods suite
- Manage and support EDI transactions (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) for client-specific business partners
- Apply integration patterns and architecture for B2B systems using EDI standards and WebMethods components
- Prepare technical documentation including mapping specifications, interface designs, and deployment guides
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and business analysts to ensure alignment and successful delivery
