- REST API & microservices development
Responsibilities
- Review & understand the team's work plan
- Provide status updates and delivery estimates
- Participate in requirements gathering sessions
- Design and develop applications per specifications
- Present technical solutions to business partners
- Identify, track, and resolve technical issues
- Maintain legacy applications
- Work independently & collaboratively within deadlines
- Mentor junior team members
- Troubleshoot and resolve system/application issues
Required Skills
- Java Development: 10+ years (OOP, modern Java, backend systems)
- Front-End: 8+ years (JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SCSS – responsive UI)
- Database: 8+ years (MS SQL Server – performance tuning, complex queries)
- Spring Boot: 5+ years (REST APIs, microservices, auto-configuration)
- ORM: 5+ years (Hibernate, JPA, MyBatis)
- Application Servers: 5+ years (Apache Tomcat, Spring Boot embedded)
- Build Tools: 5+ years (Maven)
- IDE: 5+ years (IntelliJ IDEA – development, debugging, refactoring)
- Version Control & CI/CD: 3+ years (Azure DevOps, Git)
Highly Desired
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
- Hands-on technical design in large enterprise systems
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to present solutions to non-technical stakeholders
