Job Summary:
QA Engineer Automated 3 with a strong technical background in automated testing, scripting, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in UFT or similar test automation tools, SQL/PLSQL, and JavaScript, Python, or VBScript. Experience working in Agile SDLC environments and familiarity with tools like JIRA is highly preferred.
Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of Austin, TX. Out-of-state candidates or those planning to relocate are not eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute automated test suites using UFT or similar tools.
- Write and optimize database queries for testing purposes (SQL, PL/SQL).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create Requirements Traceability Matrices, Test Plans, and Test Scripts.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing coordination.
- Follow Agile SDLC and CI/CD practices.
- Track tasks and progress using JIRA.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 8+ years: Strong communication skills and UFT (or similar) test automation experience.
- 8+ years: Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL for database validations.
- Strong scripting knowledge: JavaScript, Python, VBScript.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years: Experience developing traceability matrices, test plans, and test scripts.
- 4+ years: Working in Agile environments and using JIRA for sprint/task management.
- 1+ year: Experience in Agile project management methodologies.
