Sr. Full Stack Java Developer
- Location: Onsite (2-3 Days) New York, New Jersey (Locals Only)

Required Skills / Qualifications
- 9+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full stack development.
- Proficiency in Java, React, SpringBoot, Typescript, REST APIs, Hibernate, JPA, SQL, JUnit, and Maven.
- Experience with Azure Cloud Computing.
- Knowledge of Apache Spark for big data processing and Apache Camel for system integration.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in corporate lending and loan trading within the financial services industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Experience with at least two recent projects with a financial client.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Sr. Full Stack Java Developer with 9+ years of experience to join a long-term project with TD Bank. This hybrid role requires a local candidate who can be onsite 2-3 days a week in New York or New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the full Java stack, including SpringBoot and React, with a strong background in Azure Cloud. Experience in corporate lending and loan trading is highly preferred, as the role involves working on system integrations, performance optimization, and remediation projects.
Essential Responsibilities
- Utilize skills in Java, React, SpringBoot, Typescript, REST APIs, Hibernate, JPA, SQL, JUnit, Maven, and Azure to develop and maintain high-quality software solutions.
- Work on system integration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting complex issues.
- Ensure software quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
- Use technologies like Apache Spark and Apache Camel.
- Lead and manage initiatives related to corporate lending and loan trading.
- Oversee remediation projects for Credit, Lending, ESG, and Trade Finance.
Preferred Skills
- In-depth understanding of the LoanIQ data model, APIs, and workflows.
- Strong knowledge of remediation processes for Credit, Lending, ESG, and Trade Finance.
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and requirements in financial services.
