Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team on a contract basis with a prestigious client, World Bank. The ideal candidate will be SAFe Certified and possess a strong background in Agile methodologies, with the ability to act as both a Business Analyst and Scrum Master.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners to define Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and prioritize product backlogs.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement sessions.
- Lead requirements gathering workshops, user story mapping, and stakeholder meetings.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise, and testable user stories with defined acceptance criteria.
- Ensure the product backlog is prioritized and aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams including development, QA, design, and business stakeholders.
- Visualize business processes through documentation, workflows, and wireframes.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and test cases to ensure solution quality.
- Maintain alignment with Agile best practices and SAFe framework principles.
Must-Have Skills
- SAFe Certification – Strict Requirement
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe
- Prior experience functioning as both a Business Analyst and Scrum Master
- Exceptional facilitation, communication, and documentation skills
- Strong stakeholder management experience
- Previous experience in a Banking or Financial Services environment
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Exposure to enterprise-level environments or government agencies
- Background in creating wireframes using tools like Figma, Balsamiq, or Visio
Additional Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- EAD copy (if applicable), Date of Birth, and Right to Represent (RTR) form required at submission
- Resume and rate confirmation from candidate
