Quick Note for Recruiter (From Hiring Manager):
We're looking for a seasoned PMO Consultant with a solid track record supporting large healthcare or government initiatives—ideally with experience on Medicaid or actuarial/financial analysis projects. The right candidate will be proactive in maintaining project documentation, able to juggle multiple priorities, and effective at collaborating in a remote environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are critical. Preference will be given to those located in the Midwest due to client time zone alignment.
What projects will the consultant be involved with?
• Medicaid Managed Care Rate Setting
• Budget Forecasting & Analysis
• Waiver Support
• Provider Reimbursement Strategy
• Pharmacy & Data Warehousing Analysis
• PMO Project Administration and Reporting
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update project plans (Task Orders/GANTT charts)
• Prepare and support Monthly Progress Reports
• Consolidate meeting notes and manage CRAID log (Constraints, Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Decisions)
• Collaborate with PMO leadership on project timelines and delivery tracking
• Coordinate across actuarial, financial, and technical teams
Role with the group:
Project Management Consultant – PMO Support
Required Skills:
• Microsoft Office 365 – Intermediate proficiency
• 5+ years of PMO experience
• Experience with Medicaid or large-scale healthcare/government projects is highly preferred
• Familiarity with CRAID log documentation and project reporting
Desired Skills:
• Experience supporting actuarial or financial modeling teams
• Previous work on Deloitte/state-level Medicaid projects
• Familiarity with Medicaid managed care structures
Selling Points of the Job:
• Long-term contract (2+ years)
